Probable Team Lineups: Wolves vs Manchester City
I nailed the starting eleven in both Wolves and Liverpool the last match. It is beginning to be a habit for me to pick the right 22 starting. I did it against Burnley and Tottenham as well.
But it is much harder to know what team McCarthy will start with tonight at Molineux. It has only been 48 hours since the Liverpool game and our manager has already announced that there will be a couple of players resting. Last time he said that he would rest ‘a couple’ he rested ten players. But I don’t think he will do that tonight.
Wolves only have a cup match next Sunday to worry about, so the players will get all the rest they need after this game. But some of them will rest because they gave everything against Liverpool with ten men, so I will take an informed guess at who will play.
Manchester City has many players injured. I think that they will play with the same team that they beat Stoke with. With one exception. Bellamy comes in for Robinho. The City players are more used to the Premier League tempo and can take a couple of matches with a couple of days in between better than Wolves.
Here are the starting elevens for Wolves and Manchester City tonight at Molineux:

It’s a strong team. Hopefully Maierhofer will get a chance to prove his skills. I think he played really well against Man Utd. He can really hold on to the ball. Jones might be on the recovery trail too.
Hopefully we’ll win this one
