Foley is back to play in the Reserves tonight

After injury and coming back too early Kevin Foley – Player Of The Year last season – is at last on his way back to join the team again in their quest to stay in the Premier.

He is starting tonight in the Reserves game against local rivals Birmingham. They are the only team placed after Wolves in the Premier League Reserves South (see links in the right margin of the main page). So it’s more than bragging rights that’s on the stakes tonight.

Another Wolves player that has shown lots of quality in the past that is back tonight is our highly thought of goalkeeper Matt Murray. With an injury-list longer than Stefan Maierhofer many fans have lost hope of him ever coming back, but nevertheless, tonight he will stand between the posts for Wolves again.

Another Wolves player who played regular in the first XI earlier in the season who starts tonight is Matt Jarvis. He played for 16 minutes against Arsenal Saturday and made and launched the corner that Craddock scored from with a header. It’s good that he’s playing, cause he needs matches to stay fit.

As usual the team in the Reserves is comprised of players back from injury and players close to the first team and youth players that has shown they are something for the future.

The match is played in Telford New Bucks Head at 7pm and it’s free for season ticket holders and £4 for adults, £1 concessions.

TEAM: Murray, Foley, Ebanks-Landell, Elokobi, Malone, Halford, Surman, Bennett, Jarvis, Hemmings, Spray.
SUBS: East, Rooney, Price, Metcalf, Parsonage.
