Loan Watch: Batth on bench at the U’s and Malone lost with Shrimpers

Danny Batth – out on loan from Wolves to Colchester United – got splinters in his ass for the third time in a row. The U’s won against Bristol Rovers with 1-0 and the veteran player Kevin Lisbie struck the goal. Paul Reid played in Batth’s centre-back position and made a Man Of The Match appearance. It doesn’t look like Danny will get any playtime for a while.

Scott Malone – Wolves left back on loan to Southend – played the 90 but his team lost to Charlton with an odd goal. He made a couple of blocks and fired a couple of shots on goal. Southend was the better team, said the Shrimper manager Steve Tilson.
