Loan Watch: Vokes played for an hour for Leeds in draw (vid.)

Sam Vokes played for an hour when Leeds drew against Huddersfield at home.

Leeds started the match like Wolves did, with a goal after only a minute and twenty five seconds. It was the Town keeper who didn’t manage to hold on to the ball after a shot and Snodgrass was fast and well placed to kick it in. Substitute Gredel scored Leeds second. Well, I managed to get a video of the action, so you can watch for yourselves down underneath.

Sam Vokes had a header at goal from deep inside the area in the 13th minute, but it missed to the left of the target. Just before he was substituted he had a shot at goal from long range, but that missed target to the left as well.

  1. I think you’ll be having Vokes back after the loan spell, he haboffered nothing and looks totally out of his depth, missed several one on ones and an open net at Oldham. At the moment we have better players and players who have a better work rate. I know he is still young but I’d be suprised if he carves out a career at Premiership level

  2. Paddy – Please take him back! He was terrible again on saturday, i am waiting for him to take this league by storm…but i just can’t see it! I was hoping to believe me but i wish you would recall him..missed a sitter again on saturday, when we wa 1 – 0 up which could of and probably would of won us the league.

  3. league sorry i meant game…
