Berra: Give Keane or Defoe half a chance they’ll net

Jody Craddock was named in Alan Hansens column today with information he probable gathered from Paddytheflea’s humble head-to-head article. But the ace central defender has a partner in the middle as important as himself.

Christophe Berra – Wolves profile and Scottish international – has his sights on the match at White hart Lane against Tottenham Hotspurs and think we can get something from it.

Stoke went there and won 1-0 but we know it’s going to be difficult. Harry Redknapp has done a great job there and has got them playing some wonderful football and if you give Robbie Keane or Jermain Defoe a half chance, they’ll put it in the net.

As a back four, we’ve got to be tight, which for the majority of Saturday’s game we were. I was impressed with Ivan Klasnic, especially around the box – he takes a touch and looks to make something happen and you can tell he’s got something. But we managed to keep him quiet. We’ve done it against Wigan, Stoke and Everton and I don’t see why we can’t do it there.

That’s the spirit, Berra! You can do it. Tottenham is only flesh and blood like everybody else. But be quick to get back if you’ll go up the field.
