Craddock: We can get a result from Tottenham

Jody Craddock – Wolves striker disguised as a central defender – has talked about the match against Tottenham Hotspurs tomorrow in a press conference.

A win always does wonders for any club and for us, beating Bolton meant we could put Birmingham behind us. It certainly gave us some confidence ready for this weekend which only comes from winning games. It’s easy to say that Arsenal and Chelsea didn’t affect us too much but maybe it had done in a way and we’ve got another two big games to look forward to now.

Tottenham is first and there’s no reason why we can’t go there and think we can get something out of the game. If we can play with a high tempo and do the things which we know we can do we can get a result. Tottenham are a very good attacking side, we know that’s their strength, but we can’t just sit back and try and soak it up for 90 minutes. If you do that it’s inevitable that you end up conceding.

We have to try and take our game to them and maybe put them under pressure with free kicks and corners and make the most of any chances that come along. I saw them against Everton at the weekend and they were fantastic in attack but ended up drawing 2-2 after leading 2-0. That gives us room to believe we can get a result and if there is a chink in them then we can pop up with a goal.
