Loan Watch: Ikeme to QPR

Wolves third ranked keeper Carl Ikeme moves on and one more Championship club wishes to use his services as a loan. The QPR manager Paul Hart says to The London Informer:

We’re very grateful to Wolves for allowing him to come out on loan to us. He’s a young goalkeeper who I know they think a lot of and he’s joining us to gain experience. He is certainly someone I consider to be a great addition to the squad. He is coming here to challenge for the number one jersey, not just to warm the bench as a back-up.

Let us hope that he will not get injured again. He has been a little injury prone in his loan spells during the years. Carl is better than most of the keepers in the Championship and he proved it by being chosen to the Team Of The Week a couple of weeks ago when he played for Blades. Good luck!
