Loan Watch: Goals by Big Chris and Danny Batth!

Queens Park Rangers – with the Wolves loanees Carl Ikeme and Matty Hill – won by 2-1 at home against Doncaster.

It was their first win for the year and the young Rangers own product Antonio German did his professional debut so well that he did score and was the best player on the pitch.

And the Rangers supporters also have something else to smile about. Chairman Briatore is resigning and their main owner Mittal is increasing his part of the shares in the club. Maybe the future of QPR is looking up?!

Wolves veteran striker Chris Iwelumo scored his first and the Bristol Citys first goal against the Baggies. That goal was the beginning of their downfall and Bristol could come back inte the game and claim a win by 2-1. The Shits are now third. Thank you Big Chris for taking them off the direct quaification spots! 😆

In League One Danny Batth played his first match for Colchester United in a long time and what a come back! He scored the only goal after a corner for the U’s against a hard fighting Oldham and now Colchester are third in the tables – just a point from Leeds in second place.

Manager Aidy Boothroyd must have regrets about not playing the Wolves central defender Danny Batth for a while, but now he has some nice words about him (BBC Sport):

It was a tight one and this is our biggest win of our season for me because I thought Oldham were really good today. To have to make four enforced changes, everything we did during the week went out the window and it was just about putting it together today. Danny Batth scored his goal and was absolutely superb, Phil Ifil I thought was exceptional today and I thought everybody pulled together today and that’s what you need.

It was Scott Malone’s turn to sit on the bench in League One. But Southend lost to MK Dons with three goals against one, so the Wolves out on loan English under 19 international left back will probably play from start again in the next game.

Daniel Jones played the whole match when Bristol Rovers lost against Gillingham away with an only goal.
