Probable Team Lineups: Bolton Wanderers vs Wolves

Both the Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bolton Wanderers team are quite settled at the moment. Therefore the propability of me presenting the right starting elevens are pretty high this week.

But as always there are a few doubts. Ward has been reported ‘suffering from illness’ yesterday. The Guardian says that it is about his knee and don’t think he will play, but he was back in training today so I think he will start. If not it will be Elokobi on the left back. Otherwise the Wolves team will be the same as the last match.

I present the Wolves team in a 4-2-3-1-formation below. That is actually not far from how they operate nowadays, with Henry taking the head responsability as a holding midfielder, but Guérdioula also operates a lot in a defensive role, but he is a box-to-box midfielder that also likes to go forward.

Bolton played Klasnic from start in the Cup in their big loss against Tottenham Wednesday. Therefore I do beleive that Coyle (see big portrait of him by Paddytheflea HERE) will start with Elmander and Kevin Davies as forwards. Mark Davies had an ankle injury and did not play against Tottenham. He might be back against Wolves, but not from start.

Here are the probable starting elevens for Bolton and Wolves:
