Dave Edwards to play for the Reserves tonight

The Reserves of Wolves are playing Arsenal away tonight and Dave Edwards will do his second important step to a come back in the Premier League. He talked to the Official Wolves Site about it.

It’s my first competitive game in three months and I’m looking forward to getting back out there. I’ve felt good since returning to training and am treating this as the next stage of my recovery. Hopefully I’ll come through o-k and then we’ll take it from there.

And Wolves are handing Danny Batth a well deserved match as he doesn’t get any playing time at Colchester these days. Sam Winnall is doing a comeback after a cruciate knee injury as well.

The kick off is tonight at 7pm.

TEAM: McCarey, Metcalf, Reckord, Batth, Dunleavy, Davis, Mendez-Laing, Rooney, Landell, Edwards, Winnall: SUBS: McCone, Harris, McAlinden, Parsonage, Gorman, Griffiths.
