Wolves Reserves play Pompey tonight

The Wolves Reserves are playing against Portsmouth FC away tonight at 7pm.

As usual there are some players from the first team in the starting eleven. And a surprise visitor – Ludovic Quistin – left back/winger from FC United – on trial for some reason. The Guadelopian (?) international has played for over 20 non-league clubs during his career, but this is his first trial for a Premier League club. Why? Ask McCarthy! (But maybe they want to compare him to Mujangi Bia?!)

Pompey: O’Brien; Hurst, Ryan, Wilkinson, Mantyla; Nlundulu, Goddard, Pack, Stockford, Ritchie; Ciftci

Sub: Tsovolos

Wolves: McCarey, Davis, Reckord, Castillo, Quistin, Winnall, Dunleavy, Rooney, Mujangi, Vokes, Maierhofer

Subs: Hemmings, Griffiths, Kostrna, Harris, Mendez-Laing

  1. It seems like Mick is very keen on doing bargains by keeping him self updated on non-league players. And there might exist some talents down there or players with unrealized potential that can cope with premiership, especially defenders if they are strong and pacey enough. But I would really be surprised if this guy is getting signed up, taking his age in consideration. Good luck Quistin!

    • Yes. He is 25 and has played in about as many non-league clubs. A thing that bothers me is that he is taking a place for some other player who might need some match training.
