Steven Fletcher will stay at home

Scotland are playing Lithuania in their opening Euro 2012 qualifier on Friday. But Steven Fletcher will not travel with his countrymen.

Recovery time needed for his foot injury is the mentioned reason, but he will join the team again for the game at home against Liechtenstein on Tuesday.

In form Rangers forward Kenny Miller will take the striker role in the absence of Fletcher.

Christophe Berra will travel, though, and he will fight it out with Stephen McManus on whom taking the central defender spot beside veteran Davie Weir.
