Wolves Women: Caught on the break and lost
Wolves Women played away against Leicester City Ladies yesterday and lost by an only goal after about an hour of play.
Despite Wolves having much possession during the game and some chances aswell. Dani Selmes had her fair share as did Becky Hall.
But Leicester could get the decisive goal about an hour into the game when they hit Wolves in a counter attack where Walton chipped the Wolves keeper Nathalie Hall to take the lead.
Despite the Wolves team pressing hard to get an equaliser the last quarter of an hour the Leicester Ladies managed to defend their goal and finally claim the victory.
Manager Astle said that he wanted more passion in the team and the drive they had the first and the last quarter of an hour of the game.
Let’s hope they will get that drive and passion when they visit MK Dons for the third qualification round of the FA Cup next Sunday. The match starts at 1pm and Wolves Women want a large crowd to turn up to support them.
