Injury Report: Three On Three Off?
One might almost suspect that there’s something in the water in Wolverhampton or something, because of all the injuries to the squad lately.
But maybe we will have a couple of the injured back for tomorrow, according to the latest reports from Wolves.
But tomorrow sem to be too early for Kevin Doyle (thigh), Steven Mouyokolo (back) and Michael Mancienne (knee)
But Wolves does not rule out Matt Jarvis, David Jones and Christophe Berra to have a go in the Derby clash at the Hawthorns come Sunday.
Apparently Mancienne’s injury is something of a mystery and he will visit a specialist on Monday.
It is today unknown how long Doyler will be out with the tear in his thigh. It could take everything from a week to a month or even longer.
Mouyokolo’s back problems has been going on for some time now and I hope he will get the right treatment. But back problems can be tricky to heal as many of us know.
McCarthy said to the Official site that Christophe Berra will train today for the first time after the last Sunday game and he sounds optimistic. I believe that he is a key player with Craddock long term injured, so he just have to be playing tomorrow!
Hunt has been poorly since last weekend, but he trained yesterday and so did Jones , so apparently his foot is good enough to use for important purposes again.
Maybe the most joyous news from Wolves is that Matt Jarvis is back in training today and that he is reported as being fit enough to join the squad in the bus to that little club down the road tomorrow.
So. Take up your beds and walk, lads, and walk on water tomorrow! It’s in season 😆
