Wolves left back join Cherries

Our young left back – or should I say left side player – Scott Malone, 20, is off to join Bournemouth for the season in a loan deal.

They were a play-off team in League One last season, so it will be a little more of a challenge for him then plying the trade in a League Two bottom team like Burton, which he did last season.

I always thought that was a bit to low for him. He is a very talented player with International experience (6 caps, U19) who could make it big. In fact I had hoped that a Championship team would have been interested in his services this season, but Cherries are as close as you can get to that, I suppose.

So Good luck, Scott and welcome back to the black and old gold for the season after this to challenge for a place in the first team!

  1. I’ve never rated the guy (based on FIFA), ahahaha.
I’m sure he’s better than what I assume though, and hopefully he has a good spell with the Cherries.

    • I believe he’s good at set pieces, crosses, going forward and he is a leader on the pitch, but – based on information a year ago or more – he must improve when it comes to defending.
